5.3.1 Load control device calibration (optional)

This device prevents use of the machine whenever any load on the platform exceeds the set capacity.
The load control kit has been installed during production. No mechanical/electronic component assembly
or adjustment operations are necessary.
Before completing installation and with the platform open without any loads, verify:
 Contact between the platform and load cell
 That the display shows value "0"
Zero calibration
In cases where these conditions are not met:
 check that the platform position is properly adjusted.
 if the value shown on the display is greater than 5 and the platform rests correctly on the sensor,
calibrate the load cell as follows:
1. Press P for 3 seconds or until the display switches from "000" to "TAR".
2. Press P again the display will go from "TAR" to "NO".
3. Press /S and the display will show "YES"
4. Press P again to accept the selection. The display will flash. The zero has been correctly set.
5. Press the /S button to return to the reading.
The display should show "000".
Setting the overload limit
Machine overload is set by the manufacturer at a default value equal to + 70k g over the declared
capacity. If you need to change this limit to a lower number, proceed as follows.
 Calibrate the cell as previously indicated, repeating the "Zero Calibration" procedure from step1 to
step 5.
 Apply a limit test load on the platform (load + overload) and take note of the numeric value indicated
on the load cell display.
 Carry out the following steps:
1. Press P for 3 seconds or until the display switches from "000" to "TAR".
2. Press P again the display will go from "TAR" to "NO".
3. Press P again to accept the selection. The display will now show "PUD".
4. Press P: " - - -"will appear on the display.
5. Press /S repeatedly until "100" (the password) appears on the display.
6. Press P to confirm.
7. Press /S until "r a"appears.
8. Press P to accept.
9. Press /S repeatedly until you see the previously detected and marked value.
10. Press P to set the selection. The reading will now appear on the display.
The control unit work overload has been modified.
