The drive unit
When the measured safety sensor angle is beyond ±7.6⁰ an error will be raised that causes an emergency stop and
stop the level drive.
The sensors have to be calibrated when the lift is installed via the service menu (mode -4-).

User control units

For moving the lift there are three type of user controls available:
Wired User Interface, located in the down-facing side armrest of the chair
Call and Park unit, a wireless control unit mounted adjacent to the stairlift
Attendant control, a wireless control unit in case the chair user is not able to move the lift
To extend the reach of the wireless units a repeater can be installed.
The control components have to be registered to the stairlift during installation in order to dedicate the units to that
single stairlift.
Wired User Interface (armrest control)
Call and park control
The chair-user can operate the lift while seated with the wired
user interface mounted in the armrest.
This unit has to be mounted in the down-faced armrest. The
unit has a wired connection with the control electronics and
works with a joystick. When the joystick is not touched, the
stick is in the middle position and the lift will not move. By
pushing and holding the stick in the direction of one of the
arrows, the lift will move in that direction. Releasing the
joystick will cause the lift to stop (hold-to-run principle).
Below the joystick a transparent window is placed with led
indicators underneath to indicate the status of the stairlift.
The user can call the lift or send the lift to a parking place with
the call and park units. These units are mounted at the start
and end points of the rail. According to the safety regulations
(NEN-EN8140:2008) the unit has to be permanently fixed to
the stairwell at such a position that the lift will not collide with
the caller of the lift. The call and park units are connected with
the control electronics with a wireless connection and work
with a wing-key joystick. During installation of the stairlift
icons are placed to indicate the function of the direction of the
joystick (Call of Park). These functions can be configured
during installation in the service menu. For call and park
control hold-to-run principle is also valid.
