Calibration of radio receiver
Warning! The radio receiver is calibrated in the factory. Only alter if absolutely necessary, and carry
out the following actions carefully evaluating any risks introduced in using the system.
Components description
In order to calibrate the radio receiver, you will need
to work on two components:
RX module: radiofrequency board connected to
the mother board by means of 2 connectors
within the machine.
TX module: remote control with battery.
Optical inspection
On the RX module board, there is a blue 2-position
dip-switch OFF (1/2) / ON. This is covered with black
wax that the installer will remove to begin calibrating
the machine.
The calibration of the maximum operating distance of
the open platform radio system has the purpose of
increasing the safety of the plant in this condition. To
set the desired distance, carry out the following steps:
Unscrew the fuse holder on the guard (carriage
side) or disconnect the electrical panel. Wait 5
seconds to make sure there is no power.
 Remove the wax from the dip switches and take
note of their initial position.
 Switch dips 1 and 2 to ON on the RX board.
 Restore the power.
 Within 15 seconds, switch the two dip switches to
OFF and then immediately to ON again. The use of a
small flat head screwdriver is recommended for
carrying out this operation.
