If a unit is to be mounted in a cabinet, it can be secured to slides (Rackmount or
High-Availability chassis) or set on a fixed or slide-out shelf.
If rack mounting, do not support the unit only in the front. It
must be supported at both front and rear.
4. Plug all cables into the appropriate connectors at the rear of the unit(s), and
tighten the retaining screws on each cable connector that has them. (It does not
matter which end of an RLP cable plugs into the RLP.) Figure 2-2 through
Figure 2-4 show the connectors on the rear of the three chassis types.
Voltage Selection
COM2 in the Model 2 is located on the disk controller, with a cable to
the connector shown above.

Configurations shown may vary-see the supported card combina-
tions in
Table 1-1
(on page 1-1). Note that RLPs should be spaced
every other slot if possible, to minimize heat buildup.
