Device Types

The types of FRX8000 device are:

Enterprise Switch – an MS-DOS®-based switching node.

ICP (Integrated Call Processor) Switch (also called simply ICP) – a

UNIX®-based Enterprise Switch with call processing capability plus all

functions of the Enterprise Switch except LAN connectivity.

INM (Integrated Network Manager) Switch (also called simply INM) – an

ICP Switch with added network management capabilities, used to configure

and control FRX8000 Enterprise Switches throughout the network.
