6.3.2 Hysteresis setting

To prevent chattering of an alarm output near the alarm setting values, adjust the value of hyster-
esis.
(1) In the "Alarm Setting" screen that ap-
pears, point the cursor to "Hysteresis" by
pressing the
ENT
key to display the screen shown at
right.
(2) Then, enter hysteresis values.
For the value entry, 1-digit value is
increased or decreased by pressing the

Setting range
0 to 20% of full scale
[% full scale (FS)] represents the percentage
with the width of the component measurement
range regarded as 100%.
Hysteresis (In case of upper limit alarm)
An alarm output is turned ON if measurement value exceeds the upper limit value as shown
below. Once the alarm output has been turned ON, it is not turned OFF as long as the indi-
cation does not fall below the hysteresis width from the upper limit value.

CAUTION
The hysteresis is common to all alarms
(components).
Hysteresis in peak alarm setting
described in Section 6.3.3 should be set
separately.
