5.1.5 Use in combination with COMbIVIS HMI Runtime

COMBIVIS HMI Runtime can be of course configured to communicate with the "COM-
BIVIS studio 6" application.
The C6 SMART includes the COMBIVIS studio 6 Gateway which is then used as com-
munication interface.
The COMBIVIS studio HMI project must be configured to communicate with a generic
CoDeSys controller inserting in the "Real Time DB" resource the driver called " CoDe-
Sys" as shown in the following figure.

The protocol uses a socket to communicate with the CONTROL runtime through the
gateway component.
