7.2 To-Dos before switching off

Before switching off the device, the following points must be observed:
• Correct stowage of the probe
• Checking the fine dust filters
• Emptying the water trap
CAUTION
Damage to the device
The hot probe can cause damage to the instrument or to the
transport system. Let the probe cool down before stowing it.
CAUTION
Impairment of the measurement
Highly contaminated filters can affect the volumetric flow in the gas
path and therefore the measurement. Check the condition of the par-
ticle filter. Replace the particle filter when the contamination of the
filter is equivalent to a soot number of approx. 2 - 3.

out the data.
Press <ESC> to turn back to the gas analysis
mode.
