4.5. UPS System Installation (300 kW)

4.5.1.

Mechanically joining the Cabinet Sections

• For the following steps, verify that the forklift or pallet jack is rated to handle the
weight of the cabinet (see
• Do not tilt the UPS cabinets more than 10° from vertical or the cabinets may tip over.
1. Lift the UPS to an accurate installation location with a lifting device (see
details of the UPS lifting position)
It is forbidden to lift the UPS, when the UPM or battery module is installed inside the
UPS. UPS internal UPM or batteries need to wait for the UPS cabinet to be hoisted to the
designated installation location before installing into the cabinet. UPS damage caused by
improper suspension is not covered by the warranty.
• Hang bolts should be screw tightened.
• Must use all the four hand bolts to lift the cabinet.
• Make sure the load of sling and crane is larger than 2 tons.
• The angle between the sling and the level must greater than or equal to 45 degrees.
• These machine is too heavy, make sure the ground is able to withstand.
Assemble hang bolts(4pcs) at the
top of the cabinet. (4-M12 bolts)
