Abbr.
PVA
● Register the address of the PV input point.
・ For the registration method, refer to "Chapter 4 Registration and
Setting Using Engineering Tool".
The input point is converted to a direct notation address to be
stored.
DCH
Used to set the input count value corresponding to the instrument
range high limit (RH).(refer to Supplementary explanation.)
●DCH>DCL
DCL
Used to set the input count value corresponding to the instrument
range low limit (RL).
(refer to Supplementary explanation)
●DCL<DCH
Remark
The differences in processing for different signal types (SIG) are as follows.
(1) Difference in standard input processing depending on the signal type (SIG)
• For "4-20mA 2-wire type" to "S-THC" and "mV," the standard process for analog input is
performed.
Sensor error (PVI) occurrence conditions
• Other than mV: AI input < 4480 AI input=32767
• mV: AI input > DCH AI input < DCL
• For "pulse contact" and "pulse voltage," the standard process for pulse input is performed.
(2) The relation between the signal type (SIG) and input count is as follows.
4-20mA
:6400~32000
1-5V
:6400-32000
Resistance temperature detector:6400 to 32000 for the measurement range of the
module
Thermocouple :6400 to 32000 for the measurement range of the module
mV
:-32000 to 32000 for the measurement range of the module
To match the measurement range of the module and instrument range, set DCL and DCH
to the values above.
To make the instrument range smaller than the measurement range of the module, set
DCH and DCL to the values obtained in the formula below.
DCH = CL0 + (CH0 - CL0) × RH / (mRH - mRL)
DCL = CL0 + (CH0 - CL0) × RL / (mRH - mRL)
CH0 :Input count value corresponding to the measurement range upper limit
(32000)
CL0 :Input count value corresponding to the measurement range lower limit
(6400 or -32000)
mRH :Measurement range upper limit
mRL :Measurement range lower limit
