6.1.2 Key arrangement of side keyboard

The key arrangement of the side keyboard is shown below.
The keyboard consists of alphanumeric keys (white), special keys (orange),
arrow keys (green), and the Enter key (orange).
6.1.3 Key operation overview (Rule)
● 1 key/1 action
When 1 key is pressed, 1 action (screen execution) will be executed.
● Hierarchical menu
Menu changes from main menu to submenu hierarchically and if
pressed, the menu goes back to the previous menu.
● Automatic alarm indication
An alarm condition is periodically searched and an icon will be displayed if
found.
● Key operation lock
Keep pressing
Keep pressing
system returns to main menu.
● Auto prohibition of key operation
If no key operation is done for the specified period of time (3 minutes), it is
regarded as the end of key operation, and the display backlight is turned
OFF. The key operation is prohibited to prevent wrong operation.

Remark
Key operation prohibition can also be set with the Engineering Tool.
For tool setting, refer to "Appendix F Details of Module Parameters". For side key operation,
refer to "Appendix H.2 How to Operate Side Keyboard".
