Switch type
Maintenance switch
(Maint.SW.)
(Note) Normally, set all
switches to "OFF."
Engineering switch
(Eng.SW.)
(Note) Normally, set
switches 1 to 5 to "OFF."
Switches 6, 7, and 8 can be
arbitrary.
Remark
• The DIP switch setting values are read when the power is turned on. The settings are not
reflected when they are changed during execution.
• For memory clear engineering switch (SW No. 1) operation, refer to "5.2.2 Memory clear,
download, and startup".
• If the operation specification after error down of engineering switch (SW No. 6) is set to ON,
the LC53* automatically starts up after an error down. This function is effective when the
cause of the error is temporary. It will not restart if OFF is selected.
• Normally, Ethernet transmission speed can be selected automatically in 10M or 100M in auto
negotiation. If Ethernet transmission is not stable, the setting can be fixed on 10M. (Set it on
for the Ethernet transmission speed setting).
