14.4 Mounting the cover plates to the motor arm

The Figure shows the motor arm
extension arm with motor arm

14.4.1 Inserting the rear cover plates

Damage to the cover plates
If the front cover plate is confused with the rear cover
plate or vice versa, there is a risk of the cover plates being
damaged and becoming unusable.
• Observe the cover plate positions indicated
in the description below.
1.
Place the 2 rear cover plate halves① (motor side), see the 2
cutouts②, around the motor arm.
The upper and the lower cover plates are not identically constructed.
In addition, the lower cover plate can be easily distinguished due to
its rounded corners③.

To make sure that the cover plate halves securely snap into place,
put them inside each other in the correct position ⑤ illustrated in the
Figure and then stick them together in the direction of the arrow.

The cover plate halves engage with each other and are connected.
3.
Check that the cover plate halves① are securely in place:
All the latches on the cover plate halves① must be securely engaged
with each other.
