11.4 Connecting cables to the extension arm with motor arm Dual
arm, with Navigator M6
The cables are pre-assembled by Nuvo. The instructions in the paragraphs below only re-
fer to the connection or replacement of cables.
1. Observe the safety instructions in Chapter 11.2 on Page 46.

11.4.1 Routing the cables from the distributor board to the DC/DC converter

(See "Figure 31")
2. Plug the 2 cable plugs② onto the corresponding distributor board socket① as illus-
trated in the Figure.
3. Plug the cable② onto the corresponding DC/DC converter socket④ as illustrated in
the Figure.

11.4.2 Routing the cables from the main board to the DC/DC converter

(See "Figure 31")
4. Plug the cable plugs⑥/⑦ onto the corresponding main board sockets⑤ as illustrat-
ed in the Figure.
5. Route the cables ⑥/⑦ towards the DC/DC converter④ and plug them onto the cor-
responding DC/DC converter sockets④ as illustrated in the Figure.
11.4.3 Connecting the motor and the end switch of the height adjustment mech-
anism

6. Plug the cable plug⑧ onto the corresponding main board socket⑤ as illustrated in
the Figure.
7. Plug the cable plug⑨ onto the corresponding main board socket⑤ as illustrated in
the Figure.
11.4.4 Connecting the control cable of the brakes and the height adjustment
mechanism
(See "Figure 31")
8. Establish the assembly connection⑪ between the control cable⑩ routed out of the
Navigator M6 and the control cable⑫.
9. Route the control cable⑫ in the protective tube through the bow⑬, mount the strain
relieving mechanism⑬ and plug the cable plug onto the corresponding main board
socket⑤ as illustrated in the Figure.

11.4.5 Connecting the electromagnetic brakes

Connecting the upper brake
10. Establish the assembly connection⑰ between the cable⑯ and the extension
cable⑮ included in the scope of delivery as described in Chapter 7.2.2 on Page 34.
11. Plug the extension cable plug⑬ onto the corresponding distributor board socket①
as illustrated in the Figure.
Connecting the lower brake
12. Mount the cable plug⑭ onto the corresponding distributor board socket① as illus-
trated in the Figure.

11.4.6 Mounting the power cable

(See "Figure 31")
13. Plug the power cable plug⑱ onto the corresponding main board socket⑤ and route
the cable through the extension arm towards the interface plate.
If required, a circuit diagram/wiring diagram can be made available by Nuvo.
