11.3 Swinging out / retracting the electronic unit
The electronic unit can be swung out for easier cable installation.
The procedure is identical for all versions.
The Figure shows a simplified representation with only the flange with
ceiling tube. Other pre-assembled components are not illustrated.
11.3.1 Swinging out the electronic unit
(See "Figure 30")
1.
Remove the motor cable from the main board at position② .
2.
Loosen the 2 cylinder screws M4 x 25mm① – 8.8 - DIN 691 using
an Allen key (size 3mm).
3.
Remove the electronic unit③ slowly and gently and make sure that
pre-assembled cables and plugs are not damaged.
4.
Swivel the electronic unit③ slowly and gently 90 degrees.
5.
Install the cables as described in the following chapters.
11.3.2 Retracting the electronic unit
(See "Figure 30")
1.
Swivel the electronic unit③ slowly and gently 90 degrees.
2.
Push the electronic unit③ slowly and gently into the motor arm.
•
Make sure that the plate of the electronic unit③ is flush with the black
rubber stop (not illustrated in the Figure).
Risk of damage to the electronic unit
The electronic unit can become unusable if the fixing ele-
ments have not been properly tightened:
• Tighten the 2 cylinder screws M4 x 25mm① – 8.8 -
DIN 691 to 3Nm using an Allen key (size 3mm).
3.
Check that the electronic unit③ is securely in place:
•
The plate of the electronic unit③ must be flush with the black rubber
stop (not illustrated in the Figure),
•
the 2 cylinder screws M4 x 25mm① – 8.8 - DIN 691 must be tight-
ened to 3Nm,
•
the electronic unit③ is locked in position in the motor arm and can no
longer be retracted.
