REMOVAL - INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
6.4.3 Removal - Installation of the motor
reducer + flange assembly
1- Lower the platform.
2- Depress the emergency stop switches on both
control panels and disconnect the battery (quick
release plug).
3- Remove the rear wheels (see § 6.4.1.).
4- Remove the rear cover.
5- Chock the front wheels lengthways.
6- Tag and disconnect the 3 supply wires from
each motor (U, V, W).
7- Disconnect both 4-wire connectors from each
motor.
CAUTION
!
The 4 wires come from the bearing sensor
inside the motor. Proceed with caution during
their handling (avoid heating them by
induction, avoid short circuits between the
wires and do not apply a voltage above 28
VDC on the red wire) to prevent irreversible
damage to the sensor.
8- Disconnect both brake wires on each motor.
9- Remove the step and the motor protection
plated (secured by 4 screws and washers).

10- Lift the chassis of the machine and place a
block under the rear of the chassis.
11- Remove the flange attachment screw on the
chassis.

CAUTION
!
During installation of the motor reducer +
flange on the chassis, the attachment screws
must be torqued to 78 N.m (tightening with
torque wrench).
6.4.4 Removal - Installation of the motor
reducers
1- Remove the motor reducer + flange from the
chassis (see § 6.4.3).
2- Remove the 8 nuts + washers and remove the
flange.

CAUTION
!
During installation of the motor reducer on
the flange, torque the attachment nuts to 23
N.m (tightening with torque wrench).
