8.1 General

Alarms and warnings are recorded in the logbook.
The structure is FIFO type, which means that when
the logbook if full, the oldest alarm is cleared. For
each event, the logbook provides access to four
information.
- The alarm code
- The number of times the alarm occurred
consecutively.
- The hour-meter value when the first event
occurred, for a particular alarm.
- The controller temperature when the first event
occurred, for a particular alarm.
NOTE
If an alarm occurs continuously, the system
will not create number of events. The counter
(item #2 of the list described above) will be
incremented as often the fault will occur and
the hourmeter value will correspond to the
time when the fault occured for the first time.

8.2 Alarms and Warnings

The system is able to discern two types of defaults.
- Alarms :
These errors open the machine power circuit et most
of the time, maintain the motors braked. Machine
operation is stopped.
- Warnings :
These errors do not stop machine operation. The
controllers continue to operate but some performances
have been impaired.
