7.5 Calibration of the Steering
Cylinder Potentiometer
When replacing a controller (master or slave), a
steering cylinder or a steering bracket, it is necessary
to calibrate the potentiometer of the steering cylinder.
1- Remove the front covers of the machine and
unscrew the 2 steering switches (without
disconnecting).
2- Position the key select switch of the ground
console to position "platform console".
3- Connect to the master controller using the Eco
Smart Display.
4- Access the menu "ADJUSTMENTS".
5- Access the submenu "SET STEER RIGHT".
Push on the central button of the display and
steer the wheels completely to the right. Push
on the central button again.
6- Access the submenu "SET STEER LEFT".
Push on the central button of the display and
steer the wheels completely to the left. Push
on the central button again.
7- Access the submenu "SET STEER O-POS".
Push on the central button of the display and
position the wheels straight. Push on the
central button again.
8- Push once on the arrow UP then twice on the
central button.
9- Install the steering switches in their original
position and the front covers.
