REMOVAL - INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
1- Insert the 3 screws (1) in the coil block hole
(2).
2- Position the spring (3) in the coil block hole
(2).
3- Place a spacer (4) on the spring (flanged side
in contact with the spring) and the friction disk
(5) on the spacer.
4- Install the plastic cover (6) on the pre-
positionned assembly taking care to align the
holes for the 3 screws (1).
5- Heavily press on the cover (6) so that the 6
fastening clips come to hang on the coil block
(2).
6- Position the friction disk (7) on the motor and
insert the brake disc (8) on the nut (9).
7- Install the pre-mounted brake (10) on the motor
taking care to align the friction disc holes (7)
with the screws (1) and the motor tapped holes.
8- Tighten the 3 screws (1).
CAUTION
!
When tightening the screws (step 8 of
installation), the torque should be 3.0 N.m.
CAUTION
!
After each brake reassembly, it is necessary
to control the setting and to check the air gap
value (see § 4.8).

6.4.6 Removal - Installation of the reducer
on the wheel motor reducer
1- Remove the motor reducer (see § 6.4.4).
2- Position the motor reducer in such a way the
outlet shaft points towards the top.
CAUTION
!
No pressure must be exerted on the motor
shaft.
3- Unscrew the reducer attachment nuts and open
the reducer at the level of the separation seal.
4- Remove the cam disc.
5- Remove the bearing washer as well as the
bearing.
6- Remove the eccentric and the bearing.
CAUTION
!
During reducer assembly, the cam disc must
be installed in such a way that the punched
mark points towards the outlet shaft.
CAUTION
!
During reducer assembly, the 8 attachment
nuts and washers must be torqued to 23 N.m
(tightening with torque wrench).
NOTE
- After each disassembly, replace the paper
seal with a new seal in perfect condition.
- After each disassembly, apply the
prescribed quantity of grease (see § 3.13 and
the Operator's Manual) on the bearing and
inner periphery.
