VI-4 REMOVAL - INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
6.4.5 Removal - Installation of the wheel
motor brake
Brake removal:
1- Remove the gear motor box from the machine
(referring to § 6-4-4).
2- Evenly loosen the 3 screws (1) securing the
brake.
3- Remove the coil block (2).
4- Remove the brake disc (3) from its housing (4).
Remove the friction disc (5).
CAUTION
!
After each brake removal, it is necessary to
check the air gap value (see § 4.8).

The brake is designed for a dry running. All
parts should be free of grease, oil, water or
any other substances which could affect the
brake efficiency.
