Requirement for connecting devices in the hazardous area
Devices in the hazardous area in Ex Zones 1 and 0 can be connected to the I/O station if these
devices are connected to an Ex module group. Devices located in hazardous areas must be
intrinsically safe (sensors, actuators and HART field devices).
