Interrupts

The Ex power module supports diagnostic interrupts. Diagnostic and maintenance messages are
output via diagnostic interrupts.

Diagnostic messages
The Ex power module generates a diagnostic message when the following events occur:
• Parameter assignment error
• No supply voltage
• Channel/component temporarily unavailable
• The retentive memory in the BaseUnit is defective
• Invalid BaseUnit
Maintenance messages
The Ex power module generates a maintenance message when the following events occur:
• The retentive memory in the BaseUnit is defective
