Configuration panel
A configuration file contains a snapshot (or record) of the relevant settings of the SMD 101.
The settings are divided into two files: box.cfg with general settings, and ip.cfg with the
network configuration. Multiple SMD 101 devices can be configured identically using the
same configuration file, saving setup time. Also, multiple configuration files can be saved
and used at different times in order to customize the SMD 101 for specific tasks. Configure
one SMD 101, then save the configuration file to a location that is accessible by each
SMD 101.
NOTE: Channel presets can be saved independently using SIS commands (see
Channel (Preset)
on page 129).

Save a configuration file to a computer as follows:
