FileZilla establishes a connection to the SMD 101 at the IP address in the
and logs in.
FileZilla defaults to the root of the SMD 101 local memory (on the right in figure 94) and
shows all files and folders currently available in the user file system. Users can create their
own folders or sub folders in the root of the user file system. In the figure, the folders Audio,
Clips, Images, and tmp (reserved for system use) are user created. Folders cannot be
created directly in the shares folder, which serves as the container for any mounted network
shares. Folders may be created on network shares if permissions allow.
In the figure, the window on the left shows files and folders residing on the user host
machine. The window on the right shows the files and folders residing on the SMD 101.
Files may be copied from the host machine to the SMD 101 using drag and drop or right
click and select Upload.

NOTE: When using SFTP to transfer files to the SMD 101, if the file size exceeds
the available space the file is truncated and is not playable. When working near the
capacity limit of the SMD 101, pay close attention to the SFTP client messages for
transfer errors.
