Supported File Types

The SMD 101 supports the video and audio file formats listed below.
Video File Types
H.264
flv
m2t
m2ts
mov
mp4 (including mp4, m4v)
sdp
ts
*NOTE:
Some m3u8 playlists generated by third party software are not supported
TIFF files using JPEG compression are not supported

Supported network file share protocols

CIFS/SMB and NFS protocols are supported by the SMD.
SMB version 2 & 3 support
Starting with firmware version 2.05, the SMD firmware supports SMB 1.0, 2.0, 2.1, 3.0 and
3.02. SMB versions 3.00 and 3.02 are supported on Windows 10, but not on Windows 7.
