Playlist Editor
By default, the Player page opens with the Playlist Editor open (see figure 38,

Playlists can be stored anywhere in the user file system. When saved in the same folder
as the source files they reference, the path to the file object is relative. When saved in a
separate folder, the path to the file object must be absolute (default). Select a playlist from
files listed in the Files tab of the Browser panel (
Editor panel (
title bar at the top of the Playlist Editor panel.
The sequence of the clips in the playlist determines the sequence the clips are played. Clips
can be reordered within the playlist using drag and drop.
NOTE: Multiple clips can be selected using the standard <Shift> or <Ctrl> key
combination shortcuts.
A user can assign a playlist to a channel or favorite using drag and drop.
A user can load a playlist is several ways:
Double-click the playlist

Select the playlist and click Load below the Files panel
•

Select the playlist, right-click and select Load
•
Drag and drop the playlist onto the player control panel
•
Double-click the playlist name in the playlist editor.
Three buttons are provided below the playlist editor panel (
new playlist (the location defaults to the currently selected folder), add tracks to the current
playlist or remove tracks from the current playlist.
The playlist path can be changed at any time, but it is more convenient to make a folder
selection first. The playlist name (filename) is required. Title and author are optional.
