6 Machine transportation after setup
IMPORTANT
Wear rubber gloves in handling. (If the liquid get your hands, rinse it immediately with water.)
6 - 1 Procedure for the main unit transportation (floor to floor)
In case that the main unit get moved from floor to floor, please be careful of giving the main unit vibration in
transportation.
Please try to avoid moving the main unit after the installation if possible since there might be the possibility to
occur the failure of the main unit due to the ink leakage by inclining more than 5 degrees.
(1)Before transportation

Enter maintenance mode.

Select [Cleaning] in U744 Head Cleaning and select [Normal] for each color then
press [Execute]/[Start] to run purge.
IMPORTANT
The machine can be operated by the ink temperature of over 26 °C.
Once it is executed, it is not possible to cancel the operation.
In case of displayed temperature is below 26 °C, select the priority mode to "Printing" in U735 <Ink temperature
control setting>.

Set the maximum sized paper such as over A3/Ledger paper.

Select [Check] in U744 <Head cleaning> and test chart is output automatically.

Place the chart on the scan table and scan it.
