Rac king pattern
Racking pattern with long stitch on front bed
Techniques 426 to 429 only indicate
racking to right or to left, as they can be
used for patterns with several turns of
the handle at a time.
According to how many rows are knitted
between each racking the number of the
technique is different.
turn to left and
knit 4 rows.
turn to right and
knit 4 rows
turn to left and
knit 6 rows.
turn to right and
knit 6 rows
turn to left and
knit 8 rows.
turn to right and
knit 8 rows
turn to left and
knit 1 0 rows.
turn to right and
knit 1 0 rows
Knits right to left
on front bed stitches
on back bed stitches

left to right
on front bed no stitches
LX
on back bed stitches
Racking alternately to left and to right
