Power/Responsiveness Issues

What is it doing?
Nothing.
The status light is off, there
is no video, and the camera
does not respond to the
remote.
The camera never finishes
initializing and the light is
purple. The web interface is
not available.
The camera does not
respond to the remote and
the light is yellow.

Video Issues

What is it doing?
Blue or black video. The
camera's web interface is
available and the camera
responds to the directional
controls on the remote.
Artifacts such as green
"sparkles" in the video from
the HDMI output.
Unable to change
resolution of the stream
using the rotary switch
Possible causes
At least one of the cables is bad.
The wall outlet is not active.
(Check by finding out if it powers
something else, such as a laptop or
phone charger.)
The camera or its PoE+ power
injector is bad.
The camera is not receiving enough
power. Is a PoE power injector
connected?
The PoE+ power injector is bad.
A firmware update is in progress.
Possible causes
Video is muted.
Poor cable connection.
Bad HDMI/DVI cable.
The rotary switch only controls the
resolution of the HDMI courtesy
output.

Check and correct
Check using known good cables.
Use a different outlet.
Contact your reseller or Vaddio
Technical Support.
Use PoE+ instead. PoE does not
deliver enough power for a PTZ
camera.
Contact your reseller or Vaddio
Technical Support.
Wait a few minutes, and try again when
the light turns blue.
Check and correct
Select the Mute button in the web
interface. This button is available on
every page of the web interface.
Be sure the HDMI/DVI cable is fully
seated.
Replace the cable.
Change the streaming resolution in the
NDI software.
