Synchronising

Due to postal requirements, the data must be synchronised with Francotyp-Postalia
at regular intervals to operate the PostBase Vision franking system. PostBase Vision
automatically synchronises all important data as long as the system is not fully turned
off and the connection (LAN or Wi-Fi) is available. In addition, you can also perform
the synchronisation manually if required. This chapter describes the available menu
functions.
Synchronise – possible functions and their meaning:
• Make sure PostBase Vision has a network
connection.
• Open the M

PostBase Vision offers various functions for
synchronising the data in the S
menu. They are displayed and explained in
the table below.
• Select the desired function.
PostBase Vision displays information about
the status and purpose of the selected func-
tion.
• Start synchronising the data with Y
The connection setup, data transfer, as well
as testing and update processes run auto-
matically. You can follow the progress of the
process on the display.
