Impact Absorber
Removing
– Remove bumper. Refer to
⇒ "2.2.1 Front Bumper", page 170
– Remove garage door opener control module -J530- -2- if ap‐
plicable. Refer to ⇒ Electrical Equipment; Rep. Gr. 96 ;
Removal and Installation .
– Detach shock absorber -1- from the impact member
-arrow A- and remove it toward the front -arrow B-.
Installation
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
– Install garage door opener control module -J530- . Refer to ⇒
Electrical Equipment; Rep. Gr. 96 ; Removal and Installation .
– Install the bumper. Refer to
⇒ "2.2.1 Front Bumper", page 170

Impact Member
Removing
– Remove the impact absorber. Refer to
⇒ "2.2.7 Impact Absorber", page 174
– Unscrew screws -2- and remove clamping washers -3-.
– Remove the impact bar -1-.
Installation
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

– Install the impact absorber. Refer to
