Hood Lock Cables, Adjusting
Procedure
When operating the release lever, the left and right lid locks must
be operated at the same time.
– Bring the left and right lid lock into the "closed" position:
•
The actuating links must allow the lock mechanisms on the lid
locks to engage up to the stop.
•
Actuating links -1- and -2- must then be relieved.
– Turn adjuster -3- on the respective actuating link accordingly
-arrows- if necessary.

Gap Dimensions
The gap dimensions can be checked with the Adjustment Gauge
-3371- .
•
In -A- area = 4.5 mm +/- 0.5 mm
•
In -B- area = 3.5 mm +/- 0.5 mm
•
In -C- area = 4.0 mm +/- 0.5 mm
•
In -D- area = 2.0 mm +/- 0.5 mm
•
In -E- area = 2.0 mm +/- 0.5 mm
