2 - Rubber stop
❑ If lid is adjusted correctly, stop buffers must lightly contact body when lid is closed.
3 - Pop rivet
❑ To remove, drill out rivet head and drive out rivet shaft.
4 - Rear lid lock
❑ To remove, remove combi-bolts and disengage cable.
5 - Nuts
❑ 21 Nm
6 - Cable for emergency release
7 - Striker
❑ Adjusting:
Tighten combi-bolts
Carefully close the rear lid so that it is flush with the side panels.
Carefully open lid and tighten bolts
8 - Nuts
❑ 21 Nm
9 - Protective film
❑ Self-adhesive.
❑ Remove protective paper before applying.
10 - Rear lid hinge
❑ Removing and installing

Rear Lid Stop Buffer

– Close the rear lid.
Note
If lid is adjusted correctly, stop buffers must lightly contact body
when lid is closed.
– The replacement buffers are pre-adjusted and are moved out
or in only when needed.
– Check gap dimensions
Note
To remove stop buffer, drill out rivet head -1-, drive out rivet shaft
and remove buffer.
