LCase$
Converts an upper case letter to a lower case letter.
Format

Return value
Returns the case converted character string type value.
Description
Converts the upper case letters in the character strings specified in the <string> parameter to lower case.
If an incorrect data type is specified for a parameter, a "Type mismatch" error will occur.
If a character string longer than 255 characters is specified for a character string parameter, the 255-
character string before the 256th character is used for the macro function processing. Characters after the
256th character will be discarded.
If a value is assigned to the return value variable or the variable is not used in an expression, a "Syntax error"
error will occur.
If the format is written incorrectly, such as writing the macro function name incorrectly, omitting a comma, or
omitting a half-width space, a "Syntax error" error will occur.

Example
Converts an upper case letter to a lower case letter.
CHARA1$ = "Measurement Result = 100.0(OK)"
Rem Convert the upper case letters in the character strings to lower case.
CHARA2$ = LCase$(CHARA1$)
The result is shown below.
CHARA2$ = "measurement result = 100.0(ok)"
