Setting the Operation Mode

This section describes the operation mode (FH and FZ5-11
operation mode according to the application conditions. This helps to reduce the takt time and downtime. The
operation mode is set in the startup settings.

In the Main Window, select [System settings] − [Startup settings] from the [Tool] menu.

Click the [Operation mode] button and select the
operation mode.

Click the [Apply] Button.

In the Adjustment Window (layout 0), click [Data save] in the Toolbox Pane to save the
settings data.

In the Main Window, select [System restart] from the [Function] menu.
The System restart dialog box is displayed.

Click [OK].

Guidelines for Selecting the Operation Mode

This section describes how to set the operation mode that best suits the purpose.
To reduce the image acquisition
interval(reduce the line takt time)
To reduce the measurement time for
each workpiece (reduce the process
takt time)
To take multiple measurements
(up to 8 lines)
To correct the inspection flow and
check NG images while in RUN mode
To troubleshoot NG causes without
stopping the line
To perform inspections with priority on
logging without lowering the
measurement speed.

measurement processing to finish. Reference:
