4.2.6 Feedrate F, G94, G95, G96, G97, G195
Constant speed G97
The constant cutting speed is cancelled with G97. The final speed is retained as the constant
speed. An undesirable speed change can be avoided with G97 for motions in the X direction
without machining.

Feedrate reduction ratio M37
The programmed feedrate can be reduced by 1:100 with M37 (this does not apply when the
thread cutting function is active). M37 is cancelled with M36 (initial setting).
Feedrate per revolution referred to a rotary axis G195
This function enables the feedrate per revolution to be derived from a rotary axis. Previously it
could only be derived from a spindle.
When selecting the function, the axis need not perform a movement.
The function is activated by the following input:
The axis specified under <axis name> must be a rotary axis. Otherwise alarm 2192 "axis no
rotary axis" will be displayed. If no designation is specified after G195, alarm 3000 "General
programming error" will appear. In either case, machining of the part program is aborted.
In a block with G195 <axis name> — as with G95 — further parameters can be
programmed in addition.
If the feedrate per revolution is programmed for a rotary axis, a lower-case "r" is displayed
after the F-value; if it is programmed for a spindle, an upper-case "R" will appear:
• F 10r (rotary axis)
• F 10R (spindle)
Example:
"Feedrate per revolution referred to a rotary axis" when hobbing.
Machining as described by the above example can be carried out only if
the "Electronic gearbox" (ELG) Option is installed.

Radial axis X is the infeed axis
