abled during spindle positioning. M19 cancels M03 or M04. M19 S.. must be programmed in a
separate block.
M19 must not be programmed in two consecutive blocks. Two blocks containing M19 must be
separated by at least one block (e.g. dwell time or auxiliary function).
It can be specified with a machine data whether the
spindle is reset with M02/M30 or by a PLC signal only.
The oriented spindle stop (M19) does not depend on
this setting. When using spindles with 32-bit servo CPUs
the zero mark can be offset via machine data.

Freely assignable miscellaneous functions
All miscellaneous functions with the exception of M00, M01, M02, M03, M04, M05, M17,
M19, M30, M36 and M37 are freely assignable.
The extended address notation must be used for all freely assignable miscellaneous functions
e. g.:
M3=124
Further details on the use of the various functions can be found in the specific program key of
the machine tool manufacturer. The meaning of some of these functions is defined in DIN
66025.
When using a 32-bit servo CPU, 2 M functions can be used specifically for spindles. The
spindles can then be operated as position-controlled rotary axes (C axis operation).
The assignment between spindle number and axis number is by means of machine data.
The C axis operation is selected and deselected via M functions (extended address notation).
The numbers of these functions are specified via machine data.
No functions other than M functions are allowed to be incorporated in one part program block.
