Coordinate rotation
By coordinate rotation the coordinate system of the workpiece can be defined independently of
the coordinate system of the machine. Thus, a workpiece does not have to be oriented along
the machine axes. The settable coordinate rotation is intended for this purpose.
If several identical contours pointing in different directions have to be machined on one
workpiece, you can use the programmable coordinate rotation.
Example: The workpiece W with coordinate system X
coordinate system X
and Y
M
which are identical but have different positions and orientations.
