APPENDIX B COMMISSIONING cont.
(12) On site performance testing
12.1 Whilst still operating at supply speed 10 and
following (11) above, measure the supply duct static
pressure using a digital manometer.
12.2 Temporarily remove a convenient socket head bolt
from the supply duct near the customer's connection
flange and preferably in a lower air velocity location.
12.3 Insert a small tube into the threaded hole so as to
tap into the static pressure of the supply duct as
illustrated.
12.4 Measure and record this static pressure.
Normal values would be around 99 Pa.
12.5 Measure the pressure drop across the inlet filters by
temporarily removing the illustrated tube.

12.6 Quickly connect the manometer to this tube (an
open tube disrupts air pressure sensing).
12.7 Measure and record this filter drop pressure.
Normal values would be around 80 to 150 Pa.
12.8 Restore original tubing configuration.
12.9 Using a multi-meter and tong tester, measure and

record supply voltages and currents.
12.10
Complete the on-site recorded performance data
table included in the next section "Commissioning
Certificate".
(13) Finalisation
13.1 Remember to replace X24 link (refer page 26).
13.2 Remove supply duct tapping and replace socket
head bolt.
13.3 Change to "OFF" mode, change to "BMS AUTO" or
continue to run in "LOCAL AUTO" mode at desired
supply fan speed and cool or vent operation in line
