6.2 Error Messages

Symptom/Error message
The beeper sounds.
The POWER lamp lights.
OVER CURRENT
POWER OFF THEN ON
POSITION ALARM
POWER OFF THEN ON

Cause
Excessive load is causing the current to the
motor to exceed the rated value.
The cutting conditions do not suit the
cutting medium.
Movement of the pen carriage is being
obstructed.
The pen carriage was subjected to
external pressure during cutting.
Scraps of the medium in the plotter's
moving parts are impeding operation.
The writing panel was in a tilted position
when a key reset operation was
performed (the [ENTER] and [ORIGIN]
keys were held down simultaneously).
Immediately after turning on the plotter,
excessive force was used to manually
move the pen carriage.
The
internal speed control is faulty.
The tool height sensor detected abnormal
height position.
Solution
Turn off the plotter, remove the obstacle, and
then turn the plotter back on.
