Chapter 4 REGISTRATION MARK SETTINGS AND DETECTION
To perform manual axis adjustment using a pre-printed frame or other marks on the medium as reference points,
press the [F2] key (AXIS).
To perform automatic or manual detection of the registration marks, press the [F4] key (MARKS).
When the displayed setting is satisfactory, press the [ENTER] key to confirm your selection.
(5) When the [F2] key (AXIS) or [F4] key (MARKS) is pressed, the axis adjustment menu is displayed.

Press the [F2], [F3] or [F4] key to display the black dot next to your desired mode and then press the [ENTER] key
to confirm your selection. If AXIS was selected for the registration mark mode the plotter returns to Ready status.
(6) If MARKS was selected for the registration mark mode, the MARK MOVE No. menu is displayed.

By specifying the distance between registration marks and not performing scanning in the areas where there are no
registration marks, this function enables a reduction in the time required to read registration marks and also prevents
the misreading of dirt or other foreign matter on the medium as a registration mark. Up to three settings can be
registered.

If there is no need to skip reading between registration marks, specify X = 0, Y = 0 (the default values). If 0 mm is
specified for the spacing, the plotter will not skip reading between registration marks. It will continue searching until
the next registration mark is found.
If 2-point reading has been selected, the Y numeric value is disregarded.
