4.12 Registration Mark Detection
When MARKS has been selected for the registration mark mode, the plotter detects the registration marks
printed on the medium and adjusts the angle of the coordinate axes (X-axis and Y-axis tilt) and the distance
(line segment length). Detection of the registration marks can be performed either automatically or manually.

2-point reading: The plotter reads two registration marks in the X-axis direction (points 1-2) and corrects the tilt in the
X-axis.
3-point reading: The plotter reads the points at the right angles of three registration marks (points 1-2 and points 1-3),
corrects the tilt in both coordinate axes and then performs distance adjustment.
4-point reading: The plotter reads the points at the right angles of three registration marks (points 1-2 and points 1-3),
corrects the tilt in both coordinate axes and then performs distance adjustment. The addition of the
coordinate values of point 4 enables even more precise axial tilt correction and distance adjustment.
