8. After replacing the filter cartridge, add engine oil through oil
filler port (F) until the oil level is between H and L marks on the
dipstick.
9. Run the engine at idle for a short time, then stop the engine,
and check that the oil level is between H and L marks on the
dipstick. For details, see "CHECK OIL LEVEL IN ENGINE OIL
PAN, ADD OIL (PAGE 3-93)".
Even if the machine has not been operated for 500 hours, the
oil and filter cartridge must be replaced when the machine has
been operated for 12 months.

If a quick coupler is installed for draining or adding engine oil, use
