OPERATION
STARTING ENGINE
NORMAL STARTING
Check that there are no persons or obstacles in the surrounding area, then sound the horn and start the engine.
Exhaust gas is toxic. When starting the engine in confined spaces, be particularly careful to ensure good ventilation.
NOTICE
Do not keep the starting motor rotating continuously for more than 20
seconds.
If the engine will not start, wait for at least 2 minutes before trying to start
the engine again.
1. Set the fuel control dial to Low idle (MIN) position.
If it is at High idle (MAX) position, always change it to Low
idle (MIN) position.
2. Insert the key into starting switch (2) and turn the key to START
position (C). The engine will start.
3. When the engine starts, release the key in starting switch (2).
The key will return automatically to ON position (B).
