2.2.3 COB identifier

The Festo CP valve terminal with CANopen is a "mini-

mum capability device" (minimum device). The PDO-

COB identifier can be selected individually for write ac-

cess.

Maximum 127 slaves can be addressed with the mo-

dule ID. The address is also referred to as the station

number, MAC-ID or "MESSAGE-ID". By means of the

address selector switches of the CP valve terminal you

can set addresses from 1...98.

– Address 99 is reserved for the self test.

– Address 00 is not valid.
