1.3.2 Preparing the connecting cables

The connections of the field bus interface and those for
the operating voltage are in the form of plugs. The pin
assignment of the field bus interface and that of the
operating voltage connection are shown on the follow-
ing pages.
Operating In order to connect the operating voltage, use plugs
voltage from the Festo range which correspond to the outer
connection diameter of the cables used (see Appendix A, Acces-
sories).
Field bus plugs Ready-to-use cables with plugs for the field bus con-
nection are available from various manufacturers (see
Appendix A, Accessories).
