2.1 Commissioning a CANopen master

This chapter deals with the configuration and address-
ing of a CP valve terminal on a CANopen interface or
CANopen master.
The following standards have been taken into account:
DS 301 Draft Standard 301 is based on the CAL communication profile
DSP 401 Draft Standard Propsal 401 defines the device profiles for input and output
modules within CANopen
DS 201.. CAN Application Layer CAL
DS 207
In order to understand this chapter you should be famil-
iar with CANopen as well as the specifications DS 301
and DSP 401.

2.1.1 Number of outputs

PLEASE NOTE
The sum of the outputs is always 2 bytes, irrespec-
tive of the extent and of the equipment fitted on the
CP valve terminal.
