Commissioning of a master controller

1.2.1 Installing the EDS file

Electronic Data Sheets (EDS), which are accessible via the
network and describe the features and functions of the bus
node, are available for configuring the master controller (also
designated "CAN-Master").
The current EDS file can be found on the Festo website at
www.festo.com
Install this file by using the configuration software of your
master controller. Please refer to the manuals for this soft-
ware for detailed procedures.
