Step 1. ConnectthedevicetoacomputerviaEthernetorRS-232.
Step 2. Runthecontrollersoftware;devicediscoverywindowappearsautomatically.

Changing the IP Address
TomodifyIPaddresssettingsquicklyitisnotnecessarytoenter
thedevice'ssettings/networkmenu,youcansetthembyclicking
thepenciliconbesidetheIPaddress.
Youcanseethenewsettingsonlyinthiswindow.
Favorite Devices
Thesymbolmeansthegivendeviceismarked as a Favorite device
(theIPaddressisstored).WhenadeviceisconnectedwiththatIP
address, it will be marked and will be listed in the upper list as well.
Identifying the Device
Clickingontheiconresultstheblinkingofthefront
panel LEDs in green for 10 seconds. The feature
helps to identify the device itself in a rack shelf.

Step 3. Select the unit from the discovered Ethernet devices or under Serial devices; when the device is
connected throughRS-232click on theQuery button next to the desired serial port to display the
device'snameandserialnumber.Doubleclickonthetransmitterorselectthedeviceandclickonthe
Connect button.
ATTENTION!
BeforethedeviceisconnectedviathelocalRS-232port,makesurethatControl mode and
LW3 protocol are set on the serial port.
