Using the Stamp

When the Stamp indicator is lit, the
machine stamps a small mark on the
bottom of each page. During Memory
Transmission, the stamp indicates
that the page was successfully stored.
For
Immediate
shows that the page was sent success-
fully.
Before you can use the Stamp, you
need to program the Stamp function
in a User Function key (F1 or F2) (See
P.107 "User Function Keys (Function
36)".) Then whenever you wish to use
the Stamp feature, just press the User
Function key you programmed it in.
Note that you must switch the stamp
on before you press the {Start} key, or
the machine will not stamp the first
page.

Changing the Stamp Home
Position Setting
You can change the Stamp default
setting. To change this setting, adjust
bit 0 of switch 0 with the user param-
eters:
• bit 0 = 0: Verification stamp off
• bit 0 = 1: Verification stamp on
(See P.166 "User Parameters".)
